Welcome to the California Strength Forum
Ok, so I waste no time moving onto the next year haha! If the Patriots had won it this year you know darn well I would be talking about records, how Brady and Belichick are the greatest of all time, and how they are going to repeat. LOL. But, since they lost lets go ahead and get started talking about next football season. The Giants were 9-7 last year int he regular season and were the only Super Bowl winner to ever be outscored during the regular season. They will NOT repeat.
OF course, I am going to pick the Patriots. The odds are stacked way against them - the Super Bowl hangover is real, especially for the losers. But, they are YOUNG. Their TE's are 2nd year guys, and their entire secondary and linebacking core is young. Their O-Line is STACKED with 6 solid guys to play throughout the rotation (with Solder to get inserted anywhere).
Other contenders?
Eagles, Packers, 49ers, Steelers, Ravens, Saints, Cowboys, Bears (they played very well before Cutler got hurt..Cutler was balling out)
Am I missing anyone?
The Titans need a QB, and, an in-shape Chris Johnson haha. Their defense is always fiesty and up to par, they just need a more up to par offensive attack (And consistent). You know, if they get a few offensive weapons at WR, and a healthy Kenny Britt they might just be ok!
Hey Joe, just moved to nashville- and can assure you that titans have no chance. That is- unless they get peyton. Being that I am originally from Indy my team has always been the colts- and I will go to my grave saying Peyton is the greatest qb of all time (sorry jared). If a decent team adds peyton- thats my pick. Otherwise i'll go with the packers vs. Ravens-- ravens win
They both have a legitimate chance. The one thing I worry about is the aging defense of the Ravens, though. There is no doubt that after a 15-1 season (with their only loss coming to the CHIEFS) that the Packers have a legit chance. They just weren't hungry enough after being defending champs IMO.
The TEXANS are the sneak up team. SICK defense under Wade Phillips - even with key injuries such as Mario Williams. Then, they get Schaub and Andre Johnson back. Boy, watch out!
