Sumo Grip D In the 3rd and final segment of our Posterior Chain Video Series, Head Strength Coach Ernie Hernandez (MS, CSCS) discusses the big movements that we utilize for posterior chain training.
This includes:
- The Deadlift and its variations - Clean Grip, Snatch Grip, Sumo Grip
- Pulling from a Deficit off boards, blocks, or plates
- Box Squats (typically reserved for injuries and lifters with a limited range of motion)
Part 1 - Bi-lateral Movements

These aren't by any means ALL of the posterior chain movements that we use in our programs, but this series should give you plenty of basic movements that you can use to help correct weaknesses and imbalances in your posterior chain.
Stay tuned at the end for some outtakes!
