For seasoned veterans Wes Kitts and Katrine Bruhn, this is not their first time on the World Championship stage. For Christian Ocasio, this is his debut.

WES KITTS

American Wes Kitts will compete in the 109kg B Session on Thursday, September 26th at 12:25am PST. He comes into the competition as the American Record Holder in both the Snatch and Clean & Jerk. Wes won gold at the 2019 Pan American Games in July and is looking to add security to a 2020 Olympic Games birth. Shortly after the Pan American Games, Wes had surgery to remove a cyst that was restricting his range of motion but bounced back quickly and looks as strong as ever.
